Muslim girl tells three Russian KGB officers tortured her in Lithuanian prison

Publication time: 21 July 2010, 13:07

A Lithuanian Muslim girl, Egle Kusaite, categorically refuted the lie of prosecutors of Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office at a court in Vilnius on July 20 that she was "intended to blow herself up in Russia".

In the afternoon of July 20, the girl was brought to the Vilnius District Court from a torture prison. Egle Kusaite testified that the charges against her were false and her testimonies were distorted.

She does not rule out that she was fed with psychotropic drugs mixed in prison food.

"I was interrogated by three Russians, the lawyer was not presented during the interrogation", Kusaite said to journalists and various public figures, including the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Lithuania Major General Kronkaitis, a Catholic priest Grigas, members of Parliament from the Conservative Party, Nijole Sadunaite, a Soviet era Lithuanian dissident, who came to the court. All of them demand to remove the Russian KGB-loving prosecutor Laucius from investigation of her case.

The 20-year-old Lithuanian was brought to court from Lukiskes Prison since the deadline for her prison tortures ends on July 26. According to the Lithuanian Web site 15min, prior to the hearing, during the delivery to the court (see photo), she managed to shout to journalists "I was beaten by 3 Russians!".

The prosecutor of the Attorney General's Office of Lithuania, Justas Laucius, (see photo) asked the court to extend the term of her detention for three more months.

Kusaite asked the court not to extend her prison torture term, but try the case in open rather than in camera court.

This position of the girl angered the friend of Russia, the Justas Laucius. He told the court that his "pre-trial investigation" has been completed, now a certain "indictment" is being concocted and said that the cause of Kusaite is a "state secret" of Lithuania.

Prosecutor Laucius accused Kusaite's mother of "acting against NATO". Everyone laughed. The mother herself laughed first. Laucius shouted to her with anger and hatred: "Shut up, you'll laugh when you leave the courtroom!".

Laucius at the court unveiled a "military target", which, according to him and to the terrorist gang of the KGB (FSB), Kusaite "wanted" to bomb. It turned out to be, "according to the final data of the "investigation", a "strategic site" in Russia - namely military barracks with soldiers who fought in Chechnya", the Kaunas newspaper, Kaunj diena, writes.

The prosecutor presented the court a ruling issued by a certain Nijoles Frolovos, according to which the Muslim woman has been refused an investigation on infliction of injuries to Kusaite during the KGB tortures.

"No injuries were inflicted on Kusaite", Laucius said unsubstantiated.

"I disagree", a victim of religious persecution said in response.

Kusaite's mother and her aunt were also indignant by the words of the prosecutor.

"I want a public hearing. This is my opinion, my position", said Kusaite.

Judge Tereselei Kazlauskienei decided to hold a public hearing, but the decision about a possible prolongation of the detention will be made a week later.

Prosecutor Laucius noted that Kusaite is facing a life imprisonment, because she has been "suspected" in creation of a certain "terrorist group and participating in its activities".

Laucius claims that Kusaite recognizes only one race (? - KC), namely Muslims, she allegedly had links with people in other countries, so in case of her release from custody, she might hinder the process or execution of the court order.

Meanwhile, Kusaite said during the court that she should not be left in prison, since both she and her mother are physically and psychologically exhausted:

"If you let me go, I'll look for work, I would like to work in Caritas, where I worked before".

A positive reference for Kusaite from this organization was presented to the court.

Speaking about the prosecution for her adoption of Islam, she said that during the "pre-trial investigation", she experienced both physical and psychological violence. Moreover, Kusaite suspects that she could have been given psychotropic drugs, since "her way of thinking suddenly changed".

"Therefore, I can neither confirm nor deny my testimony", Kusaite said.

Answering a malicious question from the audience, what Russians beat and tortured her in a room of secret prison, which is run by the Lithuanian secret police ("white building") and was probably on of numerous former CIA secret prisons in the country, Kusaite retorted: "Russian flies".

Kusaite's mother confirmed at the trial that her daughter was really going to go on a trip by bus to Moscow to visit his friends, whom she got acquainted with over the Internet. Lithuanian prosecutors lied earlier that she had been arrested at the Kaunas airport boarding a plane to Moscow.

The court ruled on Tuesday that the question of Kusaite is to be subjected to an additional 3-month-old tortures by the butchers from the Russian gang of the KGB (FSB) and the Lithuanian secret police and prosecutors, is be decided on Thursday.

Leaving the courtroom prosecutor Laucius, by-passing the mother of the victim, angry that his ties with Russian KGB terrorists and subsequently his activity as a terrorist minion have been exposed in public said: "Watch out, your daughter will only get worse from this".

Kusaite's supporters in response to the threat shouted to him "Run, run, and be afraid of us."

A video of the press conference by the mother and the aunt of the victim of religious persecutions after the trial can be watched clicking this link.

It is to be recalled that under the order of the Russian terrorist gang of the KGB (FSB) Lithuanian secret police and KGB accomplices at the Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office persecute the 20-year old Lithuanian girl only because she accepted Islam, as indirectly indicated by the words of prosecutors themselves at the trial in Vilnius on July 20.
